AMAZON PRIME VIDEO AND DORI MEDIA AGREE ON MULTI-YEAR SERIES DEAL WITH ‘GUAPAS’, ‘ARGENTINA, LAND OF PASSION AND REVENGE’ AND ‘SOLAMENTE VOS’

The streaming service will get an additional three series of the Polka-produced shows from Dori Media, having very successfully aired in Argentina on El Trece

 

Dori Media Group (“DMG”, “the Company”) announces that it has signed a license agreement with Amazon Prime Video Latin America for three original TV series: ‘Guapas’, ‘Argentina, Land of Passion and Revenge’ and ‘Solamente Vos’.

‘Guapas’ follows the story of five women aged between 30 and 50 years old that meet each other after a bank failure that causes an emotional, economic and affective change in their lives.

Argentina, Land of Passion and Revenge is set in the 1930s and 1940s and follows the lives of European immigrants in Buenos Aires after an act of treachery sparks an epic love story across two continents. The series became one of 2019’s most watched shows in Argentina.

Solamente Vos focuses on the character of Juan Cousteau, who lives a happy life as a family man until his world is thrown into turmoil when his wife asks for a separation and he loses his job. Lucky for Juan, his friend, Félix, offers him a job and a place to live, where he meets Aurora.

All three titles are produced by Pol-ka Producciones, where they originally aired with great success on El Trece (Channel 13) – the flagship free-to-air network of Artear.

Following the resounding ratings success and continued international sales of all three titles, Amazon Prime Video will feature Dori Media’s award-winning content for its members in Latin America.
