Local format “La Máquina del Millón” increases Channel 2 Peru’s share of audience and has its prime time slot moved to 21:00

Dori Media Group (“DMG”, “the Company”) announces that “The Money Pump”, produced by Dori Media Darset and Tanin Productions, has continued to grow its audience in Peru and is now the most watched show in its timeslot across all the country’s channels.

“The Money Pump” aired for the first time on Frecuencia Latina Channel 2 on July 20, 2014 and instantly became the most viewed show in the 19:00 – 20:00 time slot with 10.4 rating points and a 16.8% share of audience. By early August the show achieved a new high of 13.3 rating points and a 19.9% share of audience. As of Sunday August 10th, La Máquina del Millón”  was moved to the 21:00 prime time slot and ranked highest among the top 20 most watched programs across all networks in Peru in its slot. The show has also been credited with increasing Channel 2’s audience share from 14.3% to 14.9%.

“The Money Pump” also continues to be a huge hit on social media with #MaquinaDelMillon becoming the most popular hashtag in Peru on the show’s launch and the third most popular in the world.
