The Fashion House becomes the first reality show to receive the brand-new award launched by APTRA. Head of Workshop Matilda Blanco was recognized the Best Fashion Critic
Dori Media (“DMG”, “the Company”) announces that ‘The Fashion House’ has was named The Best Program at the recent Martín Fierro Fashion Awards ceremony, which took place last week at the Tattersall in Palermo.
‘The Fashion House’ (Corte y confección) which debuted its first season in Argentina earlier this year has achieved great success in the afternoon slot having increased the ratings substantially. Led by Andrea Politti on El Trece TV, the reality show seeks for the best talent among self-taught, amateurs, students and professionals with careers related to fashion design. The Awards also recognized Matilda Blanco, Head of Workshop, as the Best Fashion Critic. Every week, ‘The Fashion House’ features 14 unknown fashion maniac designers competing to prove that their style is the best, for a chance to win a financial prize, a scholarship at a local School of fashion and an incentive award. Benito Fernández, Jury of the program, commented: “It is a great honor to receive this award for the industry. ‘The Fashion House’ competed with other programs, including ‘With Teresa’ (Metro Channel), ‘Donna Moda‘ (Ciudad Magazine Channel), ‘The Cage of Fashion‘ (Ciudad Magazine Channel) and ‘Don’t wear it!‘ (Discovery Home & Health).
