Abot Hameiri’s “Power Couple” format improved Channel 10 Israel’s average time slot ratings by 81% during its airing. A second season has already been ordered by the channel and offers have already been received from networks in the USA, France, Netherlands, Italy, Spain and many more.

Dori Media Group (“DMG”, “the Company”), the international media company active in the field of television, with a focus on production, distribution, broadcasting and merchandising of daily dramas, Telenovela and entertainment shows, announces that it will be launching its new, hit reality TV show “Power Couple” in the international market in the coming weeks.

“Power Couple” is a new reality format where eight couples face extreme challenges that will test how well they really know each other. The format, which airs on Channel 10 Israel, has already proved to be a huge hit. The first five episodes, aired since the end of February 2014, improved Channel 10’s average time slot ratings by 81%. “Power Couple” is now Channel 10’s leading show in the 35-44 demographic and a second season has already been ordered by the channel.

The show was created by Abot Hameiri, which is one of the leading production houses in the Israeli television market. Abot Hameiri is responsible for producing a large portion of the Israeli prime time broadcast line up, which include the Israeli versions of international shows such as: “X Factor”; “Survivor”; “Beauty and the Geek” and “The Bachelor”. Original hits produced by Abot Hameiri include “The Bubble”, “TLV” and “Love Lab”.

Following the success “Power Couple” has had with its domestic audience, Dori Media Group will soon launch the show to the international markets. The Company is already in advanced talks to sell the show to networks from USA, France, Netherlands, Italy and Spain.
