Joshua Mintz joined Dori Media Group in 2021 after an extended career in the television industry of more than 30 years. Mintz has held leadership and production positions in the four most important Hispanic TV networks in the US and Mexico, having worked at Telemundo, Televisa, Univision and TV Azteca. Mintz began his career at Televisa, he was general Director of Broadcasting Stations and later appointed general Director of Logistics. He also was Executive Producer for many shows.
In 2000 Mintz joined Univision as Director of Drama Production. From 2011 until 2015 Mintz served as EVP of Scripted Programming & General Manager of Telemundo Studios. During his tenure, the network delivered record-breaking performances for five consecutive years, surpassing its main competitor in 2015 and positioning itself as the number one Hispanic network.
In 2014, as EP he received three nominations and won the International Emmy® award for the record breaking “El Señor de los Cielos”. From 2016 until 2018 he served as President of Production (fiction) of TV Azteca. Under his leadership, TV Azteca produced and aired “Rosario Tijeras”, the series that became a game changer for Mexico’s primetime content. Joshua holds a BA from the Universidad Anahuac, Mexico.
