Dori Media Group (“DMG”), the international media company active in the field of television, with a focus on production, distribution, broadcasting and merchandising of daily dramas, Telenovela and entertainment shows, announces that “Duel Games”, distributed by Dori Media, created by Ami Glam and produced by Studio Glam, has been sold to Eyeworks in Spain, Portugal, Brazil and Argentina.
Eyeworks is a creative, independent television production company that develops, produces and distributes content for over 100 broadcasters worldwide. Its diversified catalogue of programmes covers the full range of genres and is watched in over 50 countries across the globe. Recent highlights include “CQC” (Caiga quien Caiga) and the international prime time hit format “Celebrity Splash”, which has been sold in more than 30 countries since its launch in Autumn 2012.
“Duel Games” is a game show which brings task-based duelling to the streets. The host goes to a street with a cart full of games covering a range of topics. A random contestant starts the game by choosing a random person they’d like to duel with, but this chosen competitor gets to select the subject of the duel. In order to win the prize, a player must beat two players in two separate duels. The winner can then choose to leave with their earnings or double the amount by breaking their own record. “Duel Games” is an entertaining and dramatic game show that can be easily adapted for different channels.
“Duel Games” is the second Dori Media format to be sold to Eyeworks. In September 2012, Eyeworks Argentina bought the “Lo Sabe, No lo sabe” format from Dori Media, and has since produced over 110 episodes.
